Scaleway has taken its Dedibox VPS service from three European markets to 52 countries worldwide. The announcement came ahead of Vivatech in Paris. Iliad's cloud unit now covers every major continent.

TelecomTV reports the expansion runs alongside Scaleway's investment in Nvidia DGX SuperPOD AI infrastructure, purchased in September last year. The Dedibox VPS product targets enterprise use cases requiring geographic proximity: VPNs, CDNs, and edge computing. Xavier Niel's strategy is explicit: position Iliad as a European AI champion.

For Dutch enterprise buyers, Scaleway now represents a European-headquartered alternative to US hyperscalers, with both global VPS reach and on-premise AI compute. Watch whether Scaleway's pricing and data-residency terms convert that positioning into actual contracts. Distribution is the claim. Signed operators are the proof.
