Amsterdam-based Cradle has raised $73 million in Series B funding for its AI-powered protein engineering platform. The company uses large language models trained on protein sequences to design novel enzymes and therapeutic proteins. Customers include pharmaceutical companies and industrial biotech firms using Cradle's models to reduce protein design cycles from months to days. The round was led by Index Ventures.
